Dwight Martino is a marketing technologist that creates innovations to enable public engagement in transportation oriented development, and beyond. As innovations consultant to Mobility Lab, Dwight created the first geo-crowdsourcing tool for bikeshare nationwide currently in use by bikeshare in the DC Metro area. He has also developed geo-crowdsourcing tools for the city of Eugene OR, and designed RackSpotter.com, a system for public participation in inventorying standard bicycle parking. Dwight designed and built Mobility Lab’s website, as well many others.
Hailing from Iceland, Dwight started his tech career in the marketing arm of LexisNexis’ academic publishing unit. As project manager for an enterprise system integration, he employed his understanding of the unit’s business operations and product offerings to modernize the financial, product management and fulfillment systems. From there he went on to manage online marketing for Icelandair, the leading Icelandic airline. Dwight continued his passion for online innovation through designing applications for the insurance industry to further public engagement.
Dwight holds a B.S. in International Marketing from American University in Washington, DC.
